Shell Options

Fits every standard dress shirt collar.

White Mother of Pearl
Cool white with pale pink and green fire. The classic dress shirt shell. Reads brightest against white and light blue cotton.

Gold Lip Mother of Pearl
Warm cream through to deep honey at the tip. Each piece graduates differently. Sits well with cream, ecru and warmer shirtings.

Black Lip Mother of Pearl
Smoke grey and bronze with green and rose fire moving through it. The darkest of the three and the least common.

All three are cut from natural shell. Colour, figure and depth of fire vary from piece to piece, and the pair you receive will not be identical to the photograph.

Plain
Shell as it comes from the cut, unmarked. The quietest option and
the one to choose if he prefers nothing announced.

Engraved
Your text cut into the surface of the shell. Initials, a date, a
monogram, or a short line. Choose black fill, gold fill, or no
fill at all.

Gold Initial
Two letters set in gold against the shell. A different technique
from engraving and a different look, closer to inlay than to
lettering. Two characters only, which keeps it clean and keeps it
legible.

Care

Mother of Pearl is natural shell, not plastic. It is strong in the collar and will not warp, but it can chip if dropped on a hard floor. Handle over a soft surface when inserting or removing, wipe with a dry cloth, and keep the pair in the box between wears.
